Business Banking Officer

  •    Location: Arcadia, CA and Milpitas, CA
  •    Job Schedule: Full-Time
  •   Base Pay/Salary: $68,640 - $85,000

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop new business with a deposit goal set by the Bank and refer commercial lending opportunity to the Lening Department.
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of business clients, developing new relationships through networking and prospecting, identifying their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions like loans, cash management services, and other products to help businesses grow while maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, understanding their financial needs and goals to proactively offer suitable banking products and services. 
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research to expand the client base. 
  • Analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and originate loans for business clients, including working capital loans, lines of credit, and equipment financing. 
  • Provide expert advice on financial strategies, cash flow management, risk mitigation, and other financial matters to clients. 
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional banking products and services like treasury management, merchant services, and investment solutions to existing clients. 
  • Ensure all banking activities adhere to regulatory compliance standards and internal policies. 
  • Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Proven experience in business banking, preferably with a track record of successful sales and relationship management 
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients 
  • Understanding of banking products and services, including lending, cash management, and investment options 
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and industry trends 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
