POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cloud Engineer and Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and optimizing the Bank’s cloud, server, and network infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments. This position supports system security, performance, disaster recovery, and AI platform management while ensuring reliable technology operations, end-user support, and compliance with enterprise IT and cybersecurity best practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Build and support server and network operations, including migrations and ongoing management within Microsoft Azure.
• Build, maintain, and optimize/secured Windows Server environments to ensure stability and performance.
• Improve server performance through patching, monitoring, tuning, and proactive system enhancements.
• Strengthen disaster recovery redundancy through backup cloud strategies, failover planning, and system resilience improvements.
• Manage AI environment (build, maintain, secured and optimized Microsoft CO-PILOT)
• Apply core knowledge of networking, cloud concepts, cybersecurity fundamentals, and enterprise IT best practices.
• Provide day to day end user support, includes troubleshooting PCs, networks, servers, and business applications (core banking system).
• Maintain clear, up‑to‑date network diagrams to support troubleshooting, planning, and infrastructure documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in network and systems administration, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and Windows Server, Cybersecurity and disaster recovery best practices.
• Certifications: Azure certification preferred; cybersecurity certifications and AI-related experience are a plus.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
